The American Connection Program is only available for international students who live and work in Door County, Wisconsin.
An American Connection will enrich your life while you are here in Door County this summer. We invite you to experience American culture through friendship with a caring family or individual.
Some typical contacts may include sharing meals together, exploring the beauty of Door County, some enjoyable time for you away from work, and perhaps a shopping or cultural experience.
We hope that you will decide to participate in the American Connection program by completing the Student Registration. At the bottom of that page there’s a checkbox for an American Connection – check the box. That will start the process for getting you connected with an American friend.
If you completed the Student Registration earlier but did not request an American Connection, it’s not too late. Go directly to the Registration page (link below) and sign up there for an American Connection.
