Our goal is to show Christian love and hospitality to these young people as you become their “Home away from home.” We are called to be ambassadors for Christ and will quite possibly be the student’s first encounter with Christians or Christianity. Most of the interactions with students will be at a practical level – a meal with you, exploring Door Count with you, shopping, etc. As you get to know students there may be interest in spiritual matters and you will likely learn from each other in the resultant conversations.
